Introduction to Psychological Statistics Psych 02, Summer Session I, 2004, Instructor: Alexandra Jesse An
introduction
to the basic methods in statistics
used in psychology to study human behavior. You will learn the logic,
strategies, and fundamental techniques of both descriptive and inferential
statistics. These techniques are used to summarize and analyze behavioral
data. The goal of this course is also to provide you with the knowledge of
statistical methods necessary to intelligently comprehend and critically
evaluate reports of psychological research. Prerequisite(s): see Registrar's schedule of classes. Section attendance is mandatory. You can sign up for a section during the first lecture. Please bring your books and calculator to all sections and lectures.
